Ukraine accepts Gazprom request for Wed to transport 72 mcm of gas, only via Sudzha station

MOSCOW. May 11 (Interfax) - Ukraine has accepted a request from Gazprom for Wednesday to transport only 72 million cubic meters of gas through its territory and only through the Sudzha metering station, data from Ukraine's Gas Transport System Operator show.

For Tuesday, the request for transit through two gas metering stations, Sudzha and Sokhranovka, was 88.2 mcm, while the maximum daily transit amount this month was 98.9 mcm on May 2.

It was reported earlier that Ukraine had proposed that Gazprom transfer all gas transit to the Sudzha station, as the gas transport system infrastructure on the route through Sokhranovka (Novopskov compressor station) is now not fully controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
