Netherlands to stop buying Russian oil, gas and coal before end-2022

PARIS. April 25 (Interfax) - The Netherlands plans to stop importing Russian oil, gas and coal before the end of 2022, the BFM TV reported on Friday, quoting Dutch PM Mark Rutte.

Rutte told a press conference in The Hague that his country would focus on energy saving and sustainable energy, and would import more gas from other countries.

"This is certainly a challenge, especially where gas is concerned," Rutte said. But he said it could be achieved, that his country's degree of exposure to Russian gas made this possible.
