Ukraine expects 100% support from UN secretary-general - Zelensky

KYIV. April 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he expects United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to reiterate support for Ukraine during his visit to Kyiv.

"We will welcome the secretary-general, who is to visit us, and will speak to him. It seems to me that we have taken a lot of steps for his position also to change and strengthen in favor of supporting Ukraine. We expect hundred percent support from the UN secretary-general," Zelensky said at a press conference in Kyiv last Saturday.

It has been reported that Guterres plans to visit Kyiv on April 28, after coming to Moscow on April 26, where he is to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
