Over 5 mln people have left Ukraine to date - UN

NEW YORK, UN. April 20 (Interfax) - Over 5 million people have left Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian special operation, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees said in a statement.

According to it, over 2.8 million people have gone to Poland, more than 757,000 to Romania, about 549,800 to Russia, more than 471,000 to Hungary, some 426,900 to Moldova, and 342,800 to Slovakia.

Another 23,700 Ukrainian refugees have been taken in by Belarus.
