Negotiations with Russia have complicated - Zelensky's office

KYIV. April 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Following the latest in-person meeting between a Ukrainian and a Russian delegation in Istanbul, the negotiating process has complicated considerably, Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, said on Monday evening.

"The situation is changing all the time. And the emotional context in which the negotiations are proceeding today gives grounds to look at the situation on the whole somewhat differently," Podolyak said during a TV marathon.

"The negotiating process has significantly complicated these days. This is a very complicated process now," he said.

Both Moscow and Kyiv have said the Russian and Ukrainian delegations have communicated via videoconference since the in-person meeting in Istanbul.
