Russian foreign debt falls 5.5% to 13-yr low of $453.5 bln in Q1 - CBR estimate

MOSCOW. April 13 (Interfax) - Russia's external debt decreased by $26.5 billion or 5.5% to $453.5 billion during Q1 2022, the Central Bank said in an estimate, posted on its website.

The debt fell to its lowest level since April 1, 2009, when it was $445.5 billion.

"The dynamics of this indicator was influenced mainly by a decline of the foreign debt of other sectors," the regulator said.
