Belarusian NPP second unit to be commissioned before yearend - Putin

VOSTOCHNY COSMODROME, Amur region. April 12 (Interfax) - The second power unit of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant will be launched into commercial operation before the end of 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a press conference following talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

"Construction of the Belarusian NPP is nearing completion, the second unit of which will be put into commercial operation before the end of this year," Putin said.
