Novak: Global oil market demand growing, situation stable, prices reflect current situation

MOSCOW. April 7 (Interfax) - Global oil market demand is growing, the situation is stable and this is reflected in prices, Deputy Russian Prime Minister Alexander Novak told the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

"We see in the market today that demand for oil and oil products is growing, because the pre-pandemic level is being restored. So we'll continue to increase production under the OPEC+ deal. The situation is now stable, prices are reflecting the current situation. Of course, there are a number of uncertainties associated with supply chains and sanctions especially of a financial nature, and calculations. But these issues are being addressed. So in my opinion we do not see any particular problems today. There are current issues that companies are resolving," he said.
