Zelensky to meet with European Commission president on April 8

KYIV. April 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on April 8, presidential press secretary Serhiy Nikiforov said.

"There will be a meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen tomorrow. I cannot say at what time for security reasons, but sometime during the day," Nikiforov said on Ukrainian television.

European Commission spokesman Eric Mamer earlier said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen would visit Kyiv this week.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will accompany von der Leyen on her visit to Kyiv.
