U.S. to provide diesel fuel for Ukraine

KYIV. March 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The United States will send diesel fuel intended for Ukraine to Europe, Lana Zerkal, advisor to the Ukrainian energy minister, told Radio NV on Sunday.

"We have managed to mobilize everyone [...] Germany and Poland have small diesel stockpiles and will be able to provide us with required amounts today. Besides, American diesel fuel intended for us is on the way," Zerkal said.

Several large oil refineries in Eastern Europe closed for maintenance at the start of the sowing campaign in Ukraine, she said.
