NATO leaders urge Russia to stop operation in Ukraine, engage in constructive talks with Kyiv - statement
BRUSSELS. March 24 (Interfax) - The leaders of the NATO countries have called on Russia to stop its special military operation in Ukraine, as they said in a joint statement at a summit in Brussels.
"We call on President Putin to immediately stop this war and withdraw military forces from Ukraine," the statement says.
"Russia needs to show it is serious about negotiations by immediately implementing a ceasefire. We call on Russia to engage constructively in credible negotiations with Ukraine to achieve concrete results," it said.
