Novak: Too soon to raise issue of changing OPEC+ quotas, Russia ensuring oil supply

MOSCOW. March 23 (Interfax) - It is too soon to raise the issue of changing OPEC+ quotas to produce oil, Russia is ensuring oil supply, Deputy Russian Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.

"It's still too soon to talk about this, because we are ensuring all supplies," he said.

Novak also said he had no information that any of the OPEC+ countries were proposing to increase production above plan in view of high oil prices.

He also said Russia was not lowering petroleum product output. "Let's wait for the statistics and the companies' plans. I have no information that there's a drop in production. March is fully contracted, all deliveries are being ensured. As for April and May, there are difficulties, companies are resolving them, with logistics and payment. We have to see how the situation develops," he said.
