UK adds Mishustin, Sobyanin, Medvedev, Peskov, Turchak, Mazepin to sanctions list

LONDON. March 15 (Interfax) - The UK has added about 350 Russian individuals and legal entities, including Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, to its sanctions list.

On Tuesday, the UK imposed restrictions on Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Russian National Guard head Viktor Zolotov, Kremlin chief of staff Anton Vaino, and Special Presidential Representative for Environmental Protection, Ecology and Transport Sergei Ivanov.

Businessman Roman Rotenberg, businessman Arkady Rotenberg's son Pavel, businessman Dmitry Mazepin and his son Nikita, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, journalist Vladimir Soloviev, Channel One General Director Konstantin Ernst and Russia Today Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan are also on the sanctions list.

The list includes businessmen Petr Aven, Mikhail Fridman, Andrei Melnichenko, Alexander Vinokurov, Vadim Moshkovich, Dmitry Pumpyansky and his son Alexander, former VTB First Deputy President Yury Soloviev, and Inter RAO head Boris Kovalchuk.

Their assets will be frozen and they will be barred from traveling to the UK.
