Red Cross Society of China, Chinese companies providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine - embassy

KYIV. March 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) - A third shipment of humanitarian aid provided by the Red Cross Society of China to Ukraine will be shipped from Poland on March 14 and should be delivered to Lviv on March 15, the Chinese embassy to Ukraine told Interfax-Ukraine.

The first and the second shipments of humanitarian aid from China were earlier supplied to Ukraine via Romania and Hungary.

Considering food shortages in certain parts of Ukraine, some Chinese companies that have operated in the country for years started recently using their dining establishments and equipment for making bread and processing buckwheat. These food products are being sold at a cost price to numerous local residents coming to buy them, the embassy said.
