Rogozin ties ISS' operational timespan to possible lifting of Western sanctions from Roscosmos enterprises

MOSCOW. March 14 (Interfax) - The Russian State Space Corporation Roscosmos will decide on the operational timespan of the International Space Station (ISS) depending on Western countries' decision on the possible lifting of sanctions from Roscosmos enterprises, the corporation's CEO Dmitry Rogozin said.

"We offer the space administrations of the U.S., Canada and the European Union to initiate intergovernmental discussions on the possibility of lifting illegal sanctions from our enterprises and to brief us before the end of this month on a decision that will be adopted. This will allow us to formulate our final position regarding a timeframe for finalizing our cooperation on the International Space Station," Rogozin said on Telegram.
