Russia attaches significance to arranging humanitarian corridors, delivering humanitarian aid to Ukraine - Lavrov

MOSCOW. March 14 (Interfax) - Russia attaches special significance to arranging humanitarian corridors and delivering humanitarian aid to Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday.

Speaking at a press conference following negotiations with the Qatari foreign minister on Monday, Lavrov said Russia attaches special significance to "resolving humanitarian issues and setting up relevant corridors for the evacuation of civilians from the scene of fighting."

"And we also attach such significance to the delivery of urgent humanitarian aid, medicines, and other primary necessities from Russia to the population of relevant districts of Ukraine," he said.
