Ukrainian Deputy PM Vereshchuk urges people not to evacuate on their own

KYIV. March 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk urged people to evacuate only through open humanitarian passages for safety reasons.

"Do not take risks, do not evacuate on your own. Only an open humanitarian passage can guarantee safety," Vereshchuk was quoted as saying by the ministry's press service.

She noted that the movement through open passages is "more or less safe."

"It's not absolutely safe, but there is a certain guarantee. If not, please do not take the risk, wait for an official report," Vereshchuk said.
