Ukraine gets over 700 mln euro from partners in past week

KYIV. March 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukraine has received 711.8 million euros in international assistance over the past week, in addition to the $1.4 billion from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Ukrainian Finance Ministry said on Friday.

That includes 300 million under the European Union's macro-financial aid program, a 311.8 million euro Supplement Loan for Second Economic Recovery Development Policy Loan from the World Bank and 100 million euros from the European Investment Bank as part of a solidarity package with Ukraine, the ministry said.

The money will be used to cover the state's most pressing financial needs.
