X5 supervisory board member Geoffrey King resigns

MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - A member of the X5 supervisory board, Geoffrey King, resigned from the group's governing body on March 11, the retailer said in a statement.

"Geoffrey King has stepped down as a member of X5's supervisory board as of March 11, 2022," the retailer said in the statement.

Those previously resigning from the X5 supervisory board are Stephan Ducharme, Richard Brasher, and Mikhail Fridman, who has been included in the European Union's sanctions list.

X5 is Russia's largest retailer in terms of revenue, and the network includes Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, Karusel, and Chizhik stores.
