Peskov on possible G7 sanctions: We will respond as they come
MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - Russia will respond to the possible additional sanctions by the G7 members as they come, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"Let us wait and see. There have been constant reports on preparations for new sanctions. Yet again we will respond as they come," Peskov said at a press briefing on Friday.
British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said that G7 members were preparing a new package of anti-Russian sanctions in connection with the Ukraine situation.
She said the sanctions aimed at weakening the Russian economy.
