Zelensky calls Ukraine's possible membership in EU 'final exam' for Europe

KYIV. March 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he sees Ukraine's possible membership in the European Union as "the final exam for Europe."

"Debates on Ukraine's future in the EU are continuing in Europe today and tomorrow. I believe that our people, our state, our army have done everything to prompt them to want to see us there, among equals, to prompt them to invite us there," Zelensky said in a video address on Thursday evening.

"It is the final exam for Europe. Among the states' leaders, there are those who support us. But there are also those who support only themselves," Zelensky said.
