Kyiv has regularly called on Moscow to hold direct talks between Zelensky, Putin - Peskov

MOSCOW. March 10 (Interfax) - Kyiv has regularly proposed to Moscow that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin meet for direct negotiations, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

While Peskov was speaking to journalists on Thursday, some of them mentioned Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba's statement that Ukraine would like direct negotiations between Putin and Zelensky. Journalists asked Peskov whether Kyiv has made such proposals to Moscow.

"Kyiv has regularly approached Moscow with such proposals," Peskov said.
