Trials of AstraZeneca/Sputnik Light vaccine combination extended till late May - state register

MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - The Russian Health Ministry has extended the period of clinical trials of a combination of the AstraZeneca and Sputnik Light coronavirus vaccines in Russia until May 31, 2022, according to the materials published in the register of clinical trial permits.

The trials of safety and immunogenicity of the AZD1222 and rAd26-S vaccines administered as a heterologous prime booster shot were due to end on March 2, 2022. Phase I-II clinical trials are being conducted on 150 adult patients, the materials said.
