NATO's infrastructure in Ukraine would drive bloc to brink of conflict with Russia - Nebenzya

NEW YORK. Feb 28 (Interfax) - NATO deploying military infrastructure in Ukraine would force Russia to take measures potentially leading to a war between it and the alliance, Russia's Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzya said.

"Placement in this country [Ukraine] of NATO infrastructure would force us to take such response measures as would put Russia and NATO on the brink of a conflict," Nebenzya said an emergency session of the UN General Assembly on Monday.
