U.S. State Dept allows non-emergency employees of Moscow embassy to leave voluntarily

WASHINGTON, D.C. Feb 28 (Interfax) - The United States Department of State has allowed non-emergency employees at the U.S. embassy in Moscow and their families to leave voluntarily and suspended the operations of its embassy to Belarus over the developments in Ukraine.

"The U.S. Department of State has suspended operations at our Embassy in Minsk, Belarus and authorized the voluntary departure ('authorized departure') of non-emergency employees and family members at our Embassy in Moscow, Russia," the Department of State said.
