Lithuania closes airspace to Russian aircraft

VILNIUS. Feb 26 (Interfax/BNS) - Lithuania has closed its airspace to Russian aircraft, under a decision made by the country's government on Saturday over the situation in Ukraine.

The ban will come into effect at midnight, with "some exceptions" such as "emergency landing, humanitarian flights," Transport Minister Marius Skuodis told the government.

Latvia and Estonia made similar decisions earlier on Saturday.
