Russian troops in Ukraine destroy dam which blocked water supply to Crimea - Aksyonov

SIMFEROPOL. Feb 26 (Interfax) - Russian troops in southern Ukraine have destroyed a dam which blocked water supplies to Crimea via the North Crimean Canal, the head of the republic, Sergei Aksyonov, said.

"Our military have destroyed (...) the dam which closed off the North Crimean Canal. Efforts continue to return the Dnieper water to Crimea," Aksyonov said on Telegram on Saturday.
