State Duma speaker Volodin meets with Cuban President Diaz-Canel

MOSCOW. Feb 24 (Interfax) - State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin has met with Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel and passed greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin to him.

"The presidents set the pace of relations between our countries. It is important that the parliaments catch up, and make their own contribution. Legislators should do everything necessary to ensure the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level," Volodin said.
