Lukashenko denies Belarusian forces' involvement in Russian special operation in Donbas
MINSK. Feb 24 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko denied any involvement of Belarusian forces in the Russian special operation in Donbas at a meeting he convened on Thursday morning.
"Here is what I've read: 'Russian forces backed by Belarus attacked the Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus at about 5 a.m.' Damn bastards! Our forces are taking absolutely no part in this operation," the Belarusian state-run news agency BelTA quoted Lukashenko as saying.
