Russian Central Bank to keep situation with bank liquidity under control - head of State Duma committee

MOSCOW. Feb 24 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Russia (CBR) is ready for various scenarios and will keep the situation with bank liquidity under control, Anatoly Aksakov, head of the State Duma committee on financial markets, told Interfax.

"I think that banks need to operate as before, and provide the entire range of services. I am certain that the Central Bank is keeping the situation under control and is doing everything necessary to maintain liquidity, and maintain the stability of operations," Aksakov said when commenting on the situation in connection with the start of military operations in Donbas.

According to Aksakov, there are no prerequisites for problems with customer service and with individuals.
