Rosatom expects to receive one license in 2022, possibly two, to construct NPPs in Egypt - CEO

DUBAI. Jan 21 (Interfax) - Rosatom state nuclear energy corporation expects in 2022 to receive one or two licenses for the construction of nuclear power plants in Egypt, Rosatom CEO Alexei Likhachev said during Rosatom Week at Expo 2020 Dubai.

"The design documents have been submitted, and we expect to receive at least one, possibly two, licenses for the first blocks this year," Likhachev said.
