Alikhan Smailov becomes Kazakh PM
NUR-SULTAN. Jan 11 (Interfax) - Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a decree to appoint Alikhan Smailov to the post of the country's prime minister.
The document, which is available for viewing on the presidential website, orders that "Alikhan Askhanovich Smailov be appointed the prime minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan."
