Shenderovich, Tolokonnikova, Gelman recognized as foreign agent media
MOSCOW. Dec 30 (Interfax) - The Russian Justice Ministry has given foreign agent media status to opposition activists Viktor Shenderovich, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Marat Gelman, and five other people, the ministry said in a report published on its site on Thursday.
"On December 30, the following individuals were included in the register of foreign agents to comply with the requirements of the current Russian legislation: Viktor Anatolyevich Shenderovich, Andrei Viktorovich Alekseyev, Nadezhda Andreyevna Tolokonnikova, Marat Alexandrovich Gelman, Taisia Lvovna Bekbulatova, Yelena Sergeyevna Vladykina, Ivan Mikhailovich Belyayev, and Veronika Yuryevna Nikulshina," the report said.
According to available information, "these individuals systematically disseminate materials to an indefinite range of persons while receiving foreign funding," the report said.
