Russia to send humanitarian aid to Afghanistan regardless of Moscow meeting results - Russian ambassador
MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax) - Russia is considering sending humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and will do so regardless of the results of the upcoming Moscow-format meeting, Russian Ambassador in Kabul Dmitry Zhirnov told reporters.
"We're working on it. As soon as a date is set, we'll announce it," Zhirnov said.
The possibility of extending humanitarian aid does not depend on the results of the Moscow-format meeting on Afghanistan, he said.
When asked whether the aid will be provided in any case, Zhirnov said, "I think, yes."
