Russian Deputy PM Golikova proposes declaring nationwide non-working days on Oct 30 - Nov 7

MOSCOW. Oct 19 (Interfax) - The Russian coronavirus operative response headquarters has proposed declaring nationwide non-working days from October 30 through November 7, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said on Tuesday.

"It is proposed to ask the Russian president to declare non-working days on the entire territory of Russia from October 30, 2021 to November 7, 2021 inclusive," Golikova said at a board meeting of the governmental coronavirus coordinating council on Tuesday.

The regions where the epidemiological situation is particularly complicated should be authorized to declare non-working days starting October 23, she said.
