Kyrgyz president relieves govt of duties

BISHKEK. Oct 12 (Interfax) - Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has signed an executive order to relieve the government of its duties, the Kyrgyz presidential press service said on Tuesday.

"Sadyr Japarov has signed an executive order on the resignation of the Kyrgyz government. Consistent with the order, the incumbent government has been relieved of its duties," the press service said.

Government members will continue to fulfill their duties until a new government is confirmed, the press service said.
