Court in Moscow fines Facebook 17 mln rubles over failure to remove prohibited content
MOSCOW. June 10 (Interfax) - A magistrates' court in Moscow's Tagansky district found Facebook guilty of an administrative offense and imposed a 17-million-ruble fine over the failure to remove prohibited content on Thursday.
"Facebook Inc. has been found guilty of an administrative offense defined by Article 13.41 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses," Tagansky District Court press secretary Zulfia Gurinchik told Interfax.
In all, a 17-million-ruble fine was imposed on Facebook Inc. on the basis of four administrative motions.
