U.S. embassy deprived of right to sign employment contracts with people located in Russian territory - Russian govt decree

MOSCOW. May 14 (Interfax) - The U.S. embassy will no longer have the right to sign employment contracts with persons located in the territory of Russia.

A decree approving a list of foreign states taking unfriendly actions against Russia has been published on the official legal information website. This list of countries includes the United States and the Czech Republic.

The document, in particular, determines the number of individuals located in the territory of Russia with whom diplomatic missions and consular establishments may sign contracts for employment. In accordance with it, the U.S. embassy no longer has such a right.

The embassy of the Czech Republic will keep the right to sign contracts of employment with 19 citizens.
