Russian Deputy PM in Baghdad discusses expanding exports of tech equipment, pharmaceuticals, agro products to Iraq

MOSCOW. April 22 (Interfax) - Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov has discussed with Iraq Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein possibly expanding Russian exports as well as implementing joint projects in Iraq, Borisov's office said.

"Separately, those participating in the discussions concentrated on possibly boosting exports of Russian technical equipment and pharmaceuticals, expanding the range of supplying agricultural products, as well as implementing joint projects in Iraq," the deputy prime minister's office said.

Borisov's working trip to Baghdad has taken place shortly before the meeting of the Russian-Iraqi commission on trade, economic, and scientific and technical cooperation, which is to be held this year in Moscow.
