Eight U.S. officials included on Russia's sanctions list - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. April 16 (Interfax) - Russia has included eight high-ranking United States officials and public figures involved in the implementation of anti-Russian policy on a sanctions list, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.

According to the list published on the Foreign Ministry's website, it includes U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, Federal Bureau of Prisons Director Michael Carvajal, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, U.S. Domestic Policy Council Director, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, and ex-national security advisor Susan Rice, Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Christopher Wray, and Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines.

Additionally, former U.S. national security advisor and Ambassador to the UN John Bolton and former Central Intelligence Agency Robert Woolsey, Jr. have been banned from entering Russia, as well.
