Financing of Russian space research program should be kept at 15bln-16bln rubles a year - Roscosmos head

MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - The implementation of Russia's space research programs requires 15 billion-16 billion rubles a year, Roscosmos head Dmitry Rogozin said.

"A report underscoring the need to maintain certain amounts of financing for fundamental science has been forwarded to the president," Rogozin told reporters.

"This level of financing requires allocations of 15 billion-16 billion rubles for science per year," he said.
