New START Treaty to be extended without preconditions - Deputy FM Ryabkov

MOSCOW. Jan 27 (Interfax) - Russia and the United States have agreed to extend the New START Treaty for five years without preconditions, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Wednesday.

"On our terms: for five years without preconditions, any additions and any 'makeweights'," Ryabkov told the press in response to the question about the terms on which Russia and the United States had agreed to extend the agreement.
