Russia lifting entry restrictions for citizens of Finland, Vietnam, India, Qatar

MOSCOW. Jan 25 (Interfax) - Russia is lifting entry restrictions imposed in light of the coronavirus spread for citizens of four more countries, Finland, Vietnam, India, and Qatar. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a relevant decree, the press service for the Russian government said.

Citizens of these countries and those holding residence permits in them are allowed to enter Russia via border crossing points at airports. Russians, in turn, are also allowed to fly out to any of those countries.

The coronavirus response headquarters earlier made a decision to resume air travel to and from these countries on a reciprocal basis in light of the epidemiological situation in them from January 27, 2021. Flights to Vietnam, from Moscow to Hanoi, to India, from Moscow to Delhi, and to Finland, from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Helsinki, will be conducted twice a week. Flights to Qatar, From Moscow to Doha, will be performed three times a week.
