Putin hopes phrase 'Nagorno-Karabakh conflict' will soon be history
MOSCOW. Nov 13 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he expects the phrase "Nagorno-Karabakh conflict" will become a thing of the past very soon.
"I've gathered you to discuss the situation that has taken shape in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. I hope we'll stop using that phrase, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and I hope we'll switch to discussing other issues soon," Putin said at a conference addressing the resolution of humanitarian issues in Nagorno-Karabakh on Friday.
