Mayor Sobyanin recommends staff of Moscow enterprises again work from home due to Covid-19 threat

MOSCOW. Sept 25 (Interfax) - Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has asked the administrations of the city's enterprises to instruct as many of their employees as possible to start working from home.

"Today, I urge and recommend that you instruct as many of your employees as possible to work from home again. Of course, it should be done without affecting the main operational processes in your organizations and the interests of consumers," Sobyanin wrote on his website on Friday.

The mayor also reiterated the need to continue observing all safety norms at the workplace.

"I also ask you to ensure strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological safety measures at workplaces, including disinfection, the use of personal protective equipment, social distancing, and temperature screening and Covid-19 testing for employees," Sobyanin said.

"The implementation of these measures will help maintain the working efficiency of your staff," he said.
