Russia registers 5,529 new coronavirus cases, 150 deaths in past 24 hours - HQ
MOSCOW. Sept 15 (Interfax) - Russia registered 5,529 new coronavirus cases and 150 coronavirus-related deaths in the past 24 hours, the operative headquarters said on Tuesday.
"Over the past day, 5,529 Covid-19 cases were confirmed in 84 regions of Russia, including 1,245 active asymptomatic cases (22.5%)," the headquarters said.
Russia reported 5,509 new coronavirus cases on Monday. From 5,100 to 5,500 new cases have been daily reported over the past two weeks. The number of daily cases again exceeded 5,000 in Russia on September 4.
By now, Russia has seen a total of 1,073,849 coronavirus cases, including 18,785 deaths and 884,305 recoveries (among them 5,605 patients discharged in the past 24 hours).
According to the operative headquarters, Moscow reported 730 new coronavirus cases, 13 deaths, and 1,086 recoveries over the past day.
