Switzerland removes Russia, UAE from list of countries subject to mandatory quarantine upon arrival
PARIS. Aug. 5 (Interfax) - Swiss authorities have decided to remove Russia, the United Arab Emirates, and Azerbaijan as of August 8 from the list of countries whose citizens must observe a mandatory quarantine period upon arrival, the website of the Swiss government reported.
"Russia, the United Arab Emirates, and Azerbaijan will be removed from the list as of August 8," the message said.
Russia previously announced that it had lifted coronavirus-related restrictions on Swiss citizens' entering the country.
"Swiss citizens will be able to fly into Russia. There are plans to resume air traffic with this country on a reciprocal basis as of August 15," the press service of Russia's cabinet of ministers said.
