Manturov speaks of contract with U.S. on supply of Russian temperature measurement equipment

MOSCOW. July 8 (Interfax) - Russia will supply temperature measurement terminals to the United States under a contract, Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said.

Russia has supplied 600 ventilators to Uzbekistan, Serbia, Italy and Belarus amid the coronavirus pandemic, he said.

"There is a contract on the sale of temperature measurement terminals to the United States," Manturov said in the Federation Council on Wednesday.

He did not give the details of the contract.

Pilot batches of the test systems have been supplied to Austria and Egypt, and work is being done with Bulgaria, Serbia and Pakistan, Manturov said.

"More than 600 ventilators have already been shipped to Uzbekistan, Serbia, Italy and Belarus," the minister said.

"There are agreements on the shipment of protective suits to Turkmenistan and of antiseptics and disinfectants to the Persian Gulf countries. Preparations are being made for tenders in Brazil on masks and respirators," the minister said.

The export of antiviral products began after reserves were created in Russia, he said.
