Rosneft, Exxon Mobil to ink deal to develop Black Sea deposits

DAVOS. Jan 27 (Interfax) - Russian oil company OJSC Rosneft and Exxon Mobil of the United States are slated to sign an agreement to jointly develop Russia's Black Sea shelf, Deputy Russian Prime Minister Igor Sechin told the press.

Rosneft has already briefed strategic partner British Petroleum about the upcoming deal, Sechin said.

Rosneft and Chevron had signed documents concerning the development of the deepwater Black Sea oil field Val Shatsky previously.
