MMK boosts steel output by 19% to 11.4 mln tonnes in 2010

MOSCOW. Jan 27 (Interfax) - Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) boosted crude steel output in 2010 by 19% to 11.419 million tonnes, the company said in a trading update.

Finished steel product output increased by 17% to 10.245 million tonnes in 2010.

Coking coal concentrate output by MMK's subsidiary OJSC Belon rose by 20% in 2010 to 2.96 million tonnes.

The Q4 2010 average realized price per tonne of steel products amounted to $664, which is 5% higher q-on-q.
